I’m Luis “Tio” Colon..I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I started DJ-ing by practicing on a friend’s Pioneer Technic 1200 Turntables. In the 80’s, I was traveling back and forth to NY, and always brought home lots of vinyl to practice my skills.
After moving to Orlando, FL, I started doing private functions with my laptop : Birthdays,Weddings,Sweet 16s, etc.
I love Freestyle, Old Skool Hip-Hop, and R&B, which my niece and nephew introduced me to in 2021.
I took my skills on-line to spin on Groove Sensation Radio and in 2022, I met Mr. Al Perez founder of VSR, who then, invited me to play on Veteran Squad Radio.
I Broadcast my shows live from PA every Sunday on VSR 6-8pm EST.
